ALERT: Amazon Gives Away Free MP3s Of Your Vinyl Record Purchases

Amazon announced that it will be giving its customers free MP3 copies of the songs on their vinyl record purchases. It will use its AutoRip program for all records bought even way back on 1998.The ripped version will be put in the Amazon Cloud Player library so a person can listen to your records any time.

Not all vinyl albums that Amazon sold will be ripped, though. Only the albums that exist in Amazon’s MP3 store can be converted right now. Amazon is holding talks with all the major records to allow them to provide their customers with the free MP3s.

This provides more reasons for Amazon’s loyal customers to stick to this gigantic online merchandise seller. According to estimates, AutoRip is said to be harvesting more sales for Amazon.
